• Susan and Neil agree that bickering over their current situation is not productive and that Neil’s work is important. Better news later as Tony, amongst a whole soul-searching peice of navel-gazing introspection about work and life’s priorities, basically offers Neil as much work around Bridge Farm as he can cope with.
• Marjorie and Janet are still concerned that, while people see it as a good idea, they still haven’t got a definite site for the Millennium Wood. long
• Alistair mentions to Mrs A. and Janet that he’s taking Shula to see “Meet Me in St. Louis”. This struck them as a good idea and they decide to toddle along too. Alistair didn’t have the best time, but Shula is starting to return to normal – although he’s getting a little frustrated with her.
