Characters: Brian, Debbie, Jack, Jennifer, Lynda, Roy, Sid
- Roy’s trying to persuade Lynda to swap shifts to free up some time ahead of tomorrow’s court appearance, she eventually agrees, but involves Jack in the equation and he ends up covering for her! He’s not begrudging the fun his staff had last week, but episodes like that and Sid presenting the final bill, seem to have taken the gloss of it all.
- Richard’s seen Baby, who has a touch of colic, Brian’s pleased she’s not shunning conventional medicine in Morwenna’s absence. Richard runs though, when he sees Alistair, who’s there about a lamb.
- Home Farm are moving their combine around the lanes and are blocked by a oak bough and are about to saw it off when Lynda rolls passed and berates Brian’s countryside management.
- Later he admits to Debbie that he’s coming around to the view that if he donated the land for the village’s Millennium Wood, maybe the village wouldn’t see him as the bad guy.
- Brian is the bad boy in Roy’s books after he makes him an offer to drop the court case which he doesn’t think Roy can win. Roy turns him down flat and wants his day in court to prove his paternity.
