Characters: Brian, Debbie, Jill, Kate, Lizzie, Roy, Sean

• It’s the opening night and Roy is very nervous.
• Jack and Peggy have had a burglary, they’re fine, but they’ve lost things like TVs and videos.
• Brian’s still trying to convince Debbie of his intentions, ripping up his cropping plans and asking her to re-write it. Later she reveals that she’s asked for her job in London to be postponed – Brian is thrilled.
• Larry is trying to woo Jill, ahead of the first night he wants to create their own little rural idyll!
• Kate overhears Brian blaming the burglary on her protester friends, she points at Clive, but Sean backs him, pointing out that he is pulling more than his weight backstage. This almost overshadows the fact that the play is a roaring success, Kate was superb, Roy remembers his lines, and everyone’s happy!
