• Lizzie’s been to see Caroline for advice and decides to give up working with Hugh as Nigel and Lower Loxley is too big a price. Nigel’s pleased with the decision and part of their rehabilatation might be on stage as Lynda audtions them, in situ, for the dual roles of Theseus/Oberon and Titiania/Hipolyta.
• The Bull’s boules piste (it’s not a court) is taking shape.
• Sid and Kathy are discussing The Bull’s situation, Kathy’s coming round to Caroline’s point of view that the Hassett Room needs to come a little down market and that if the public wants chips with everything, then that what they’ll have to cook.
• There’s general disappointment at Simon’s sentence and the justice system is under attack again as Mike seeks to have Clive banned from The Bull, although Sid thinks that he’s served his time and should get a second chance. Mike’s livid as this suggestion and, later, enrols help from Eddie should a strong arm be required ….
