• Shula had a great holiday and is in a good mood – until she gets to the estate office having previously been oblivious to the events of the last few weeks.
• She gets assailed by Joe and Eddie, who don’t seem too convinced of her pleas of innocence, proof for them would be some evidence of her positive involvement.
• Susan is still trying to mend bridges with Clarrie – who isn’t very receptive.
• Shula is fuming following a meeting with Simon, who didn’t deny that he deliberately served the notice to quit when she was away to save her the pain due to her emotional attachments to the tenants. He wouldn’t tell her the grounds, but later, he told Eddie that they were obvious – his incompetence as a farmer.
• Usha is worried, without mentioning it to her, Richard has organised a locum for Friday – she even mentions suicide when wondering what’s up with him.
