Characters: Graham, John, Kathy, Nigel, Shula, Sid, Tommy
- Shula’s giving Graham riding lessons and he’s gradually remembering what he’d, on Moonlight earlier in the week, quite obviously forgotten.
- Tommy’s overslept again and, for John, this is the last time he gets help. Tommy’s keen on going out again tonight, to the Goat and Nightgown in Borchester. John’s not keen, but when Tommy mentions that it’s next door to the nurses’ home ….
- Nigel’s given Honeysuckle Cottage the once over ahead of tomorrow’s removal antics. He pops into the Bull for a medicinal brandy afterward to witness Sid and Kathy at each others’ throats over her plans to go back into teaching and his reliance on her doing certain tasks.
- In the Goat and Nightgown Tommy’s not having a good time, he’d hoped that he and John would be operating as a pair, but while John seems to be on to “A Sure Thing”, Tommy’s not be so lucky, which leaves him with a transport problem. A slightly uncomfortable Graham hoves into view (it’s his local, apparently) but isn’t going back to Ambridge, so a cab home seems to be the option.
