- Nigel is bored and is doing the rounds while Lizzie’s away working in London; to Grey Gables to discuss the room rates and Brookfield to see Ellie May and help Jill make her Christmas puddings.
- Lynda brings up a public information announcement in the guise of discussing Grey Gables’ observance on next Monday’s two minute silence.
- The Cricket Club’s booking for it’s dinner remains unresolved.
- The Grundys are coping, with the latest worry being returning Lynda’s bike.
- The panto schism continues, it transpires that in return for relinquishing claims on the directorship, Lynda thinks she was promised a large part, and she wants to be the fairy godmother. The auditions are this Thursday and Hayley isn’t keen to capitulate.
- High farce at Grey Gables as William leaves Lynda’s bike in reception as he tries to return it, with a surprising attempt at tact. Caroline, thinking Lynda left it there gives her the bullet, but then learns the truth from William!
