Characters: Bert, Eddie, George, Jack, John, Pat, Tony

• Pat is having computer problems as she prepares a leaflet to advertise the cheap yoghurt for her stall at Underwoods. She and Tony prepare the stall ready for tomorrow.
• George is out to look at the birds. He’s still not ready to take over again yet although he gives Bert a hand. Bert seems ever more keen to stop the feeding as soon as he can. With poachers at Netherbourne Jack and George want no risks taken, with no-one out alone in the park at night. Bert is decidedly worried!
• Eddie is after information about the poachers, but although Jack and George have heard from Lord Netherbourne and his keeper respectively neither can tell him any more.
• John is really down in the dumps. Pat suggests a trip in to Borchester might help, but he sees Hayley who completely ignores him. He has a heart to heart with Pat, who tells him that he has taken the first step by admitting his guilt, but that it might take a very long time to get Hayley back. Pat suggest Tony should talk to him, but he is reluctant.
• Tony has seen the strange girl again in the lane with a map.
