Characters: Betty, Lynda, Mike, Neil, Nigel, Sid, Susan
- Mike and Neil are preparing the Pick Your Own for business – perhaps even for the weekend. The subject of Clive also comes up and Susan, while not completely oblivious to their perspective, isn’t too keen on the underlying threats of Mike and Eddie’s vigilanteism.
- Lynda’ putting up cast lists and hoping for a read through. She’s also decided on a venue – Ambridge Hall, which doesn’t please Sid or even Nigel too much.
- Sid’s preparing to knuckle down in the fight for business with the Cat, hoping that the change in market for the Hassett Room and a successful boules team might be the start of an upswing.
- While Susan’s still Clive’s brother she’s not overly happy at his possible return, but for his parole he needs a fixed address and he is family….
- Lynda’s cast Nigel as Oberon (he’s flattered) and she tries to pry into what might have been behind the extra frisson of tension during his and Lizzie’s audition. He’s not saying, even when she gets a little interogative when he asks to see Caroline.
- Susan’s tells an almost disappointed Mike that Ivy’s going to have a word with Clive and tell him that he’s not going to be welcome back in Ambridge when he’s released.
