• Daniel’s home and Shula’s especially pleased that their lives might return to a semblance of normality, she’s grateful for the support everyone’s given her, especially Richard’s.
• Usha takes the advantage of Richard being away (and there being nothing on the TV) to lean on Ruth’s shoulder, complaining of the lack of time to try and be anything other than second place in Richard’s life, behind his patients.
• The last cattle have left Home Farm, Debbie’s a little lost in remembrance. Brian’s a little touched too, although he’s more concerned with a phone call questioning whether he need evict Sammy from his tied cottage if he is able to house Greg in a holiday cottage.
• Neil’s still getting grief from Susan but enjoying the outdoor life. He enjoys a laugh too, when he hears that the latest rumour is that he was sacked because he landed a left hook on the MD’s jaw!
