Characters: Nelson, Nigel, Richard, Satya, Simon, Susan, Usha
- No word from Julia, but Nelson’s finding solitude a two-edged sword, which is one more than Nigel who is still wandering around the village like a lost soul.
- The wine-bar’s re-vamp is on hold until Julia’s return so Nigel persuades Nelson to go for a part in the panto, against his better judgement he’s offered Ugly Sister Two. Prgetter and Gabriel – a great comedy partnership!
- Simon’s plotting over the insurance claim. He is insistent that Susan does nothing more than what Graham Rider asks of her, particularly not to make any positive noises to Eddie. He’s got a secret scheme going with Graham.
- Satya is playing mother hen again, Richard is really enjoying himself with Usha’s family, despite the “preposterous” charges hanging over him.
- Another of the traffic signs has gone!
- We find out more about Simon’s scheming: Graham Rider has been asked to prepare a confidential valuation of the house at Grange Farm.
