Peggy still hasn’t told Jack about the Bentley and he is still winding her up. She thinks she narrowly averts him phoning the garage only George arrives bearing news and, having rushed Jack out the door so he doesn’t hear the message, he tells her that Jack knows.
Betty’s getting fed up with Kate, the shop is over-run with plastic bags and the travller’s handicrafts are not selling at all.
Greg is still being anti-social, Kate’s considered opinion is that he’s just a miserable git, and he makes no effort when George and Debbie (separately) try to build bridges.
Jack arrives at the shop to surprise Peggy, after dancing around it they drop the pretence, but he chuckles meaningfully when told that Roy’s working at Grey Gables tomorrow …
