• Mike, who’s been taking out some hedgerows and widening some of Home Farm’s gateposts, commiserates with Brian over his run in with Lynda yesterday, while he wasn’t in favour of the development Lynda had had a go at him about the hedgerows yesterday!
• Alistair complains to Brian about the scruffy vans in the business unit car park and Brian says that that’s just the vent he needs and will deal with them himself!
• Publicly Lynda’s taking the plaudits for the decision, privately Brian blames Matt’s outburst and, after everything, Matt;s told him that they won’t be appealing the decision, it was only ever a long shot, they’ll try again in Penny Hassett!
• Shula thinks that Daniel’s not improving and they’re still no closer finding a correct diagnosis. Alistair tries to keep her in touch with the world but she’s still very wrapped up in her son’s problems. Later her parents visit and she just folds, breaking up completely with the frustration of not knowing and the worry at the prospect of it being something serious.
