Characters: Clive, Jill, Kate, Lynda, Ruth, Sean, Shula

• Shula’s still not got bored with the milking and Ruth is still looking over her shoulder, although with much less apprehension.
• The cricket cup semi-final is this afternoon, although Lynda’s conscious that it’s eating into rehearsal time and isn’t happy.
• Clive’s not too impressed at watching the toffs at play, but the cricket progresses well without his approval, the general reception amongst fellow on-lookers is frosty though.
• Kate mislaid her purse at yesterday’s rehearsal and while she doesn’t want to point out to Lynda that Clive was in the vicinity ….
• The cricket team win and are through for the first time to the cup final.
• Lynda needs a chaise longue for the production and charges Clive with the task. He pops by Brookfield later to ask, just as Shula, Jill and Ruth are firing up the barbecue. They are suspicious as to why he didn’t just ask them at a rehearsal or earlier at the cricket ….
