• Phil and Jill are off to Buckinghamshire to recce a concert ahead of Phil’s baton-waving next week.
• Shula asks Chris if she could be the partner in the stables that Chris had wondered about on Sunday.
• David doesn’t manage to talk to Richard about Usha – but does manage to suggest they come to dinner on Friday, which is going to be a barrel of laughs as an unimpressed (with David) Ruth also invites Shula (and maybe Alistair).
• Eddie is determined to fire the cannon for Phil – only his first attempt ended in temporary deafness!
