• Eddie goes off to a farm sale and comes back tight-lipped to make a pen. Later in the evening a van turns up with twelve Jersey milking cows in calf. He plans to get Grange Farm producing milk again, whether Simon likes it or not.
• Jean-Paul is distinctly unhappy about not being consulted over the wedding reception’s menu. He has made a few alterations, and Nigel has told the wedding party that there will be no extra charge. Caroline is convinced that they will like the changes once they arrive.
• Nigel is not impressed with Elizabeth’s attitude, and Elizabeth thinks that Nigel isn’t handling the situation well. Nigel complains about Elizabeth being in London again and doesn’t feel that he is getting the necessary support. The wedding on Wednesday week still doesn’t have a venue.
• Caroline seems to like Alistair, the vet, and has started dropping a few subtle hints, to no avail. She is worried that she is losing her touch.
