Emma and Ed simply aren’t coping and more flashing the cash from Will isn’t helping.

• Emma is about to start her weekly shop on a properly planned list when Will calls offering to take George to the safari park. Emma isn’t impressed but she knows it’s George’s only chance of a decent trip out over half term. Things are so bad Ed is even considering night work in the supermarket but Emma tells him it’s impossible. The shopping isn’t going well with no money for batteries for George’s toy. But at least he is looking forward to the Halloween festival at the library and he’ll get his face painted for free there.
• Jolene is pleased Fallon has got the new job. But Naomi is the fly in the ointment. She thinks it’s all a stitch up.
• Lilian is still fussing around James and it is driving Matt nuts. Of course, Paul calls just as soon as Matt storms out to the pub. Paul suggests a bell to help her run round around after James so she demands the bar bell from The Bull.
• Emma is trying to sew George’s Halloween costume when Will turns up with a Wizard Costume for him. Emma tries to be gracious about it. She’s really upset that George hasn’t even eaten his tea and she has nothing for him. She totally blames herself.
