  • James is still being ridiculously demanding particularly now he has the pub bell and he is losing business too. And he isn’t impressed that Lilian is going out. She thinks Matt will be there but he says he’s going out too. So he dumps James’s lunch making on Brenda. But not without making James’ life just that bit more miserable. Which gets worse still when Brenda confiscates his bell.
  • Lilian is still enjoying calls from Paul. She likes talking to him because she doesn’t have to put a brave face on thing. He tells her she is a great mother though she says she knows she spoiled him.
  • Somehow Tom has been roped into visiting James. But that doesn’t make him any better tempered, mostly because he can’t stop talking about sausages.
