She just wishes Bethany would be born.
- Ed raises with Mike the question of the milk price. He says he is barely surviving. Mike says he had no choice but to drop the price but Ed says the supermarkets have put the price back up and he needs it too. But Mike says they are all getting by and they shouldn’t rock the boat.
- Neil and Susan are surprised that Emma and Ed don’t want to join them for dinner but it’s up to them. Susan is interested in gossiping about the new herd manager.
- When Mike tells Vicky what Ed has said, Vicky has no sympathy. She thinks living back with Neil and Susan means it’s a cushy life for them while Mike is struggling. He shouldn’t have asked.
- Mike and Vicky have everything sorted for the birth – Jazzer covering the milk round, Tom covering the pigs. Vicky blurts out that it’s a pity more people aren’t sympathetic and says Ed has asked for an increase in the price of the milk. Neil and Susan sound shocked but try to change the subject.
