Lilian agrees to start seeing Paul again. Pip and Ruth come to blows over her attitude.

Radio Times: Paul is determined. Meanwhile Ruth is furious.

• Ruth has found out that Pip has been sleeping at Rickyard when she went to show people round and it was a tip. She tries to insist that David calls her when Lynda catches him to talk about badgers and he loses his temper. And she has to admit that the injured badger had to be put down. He does try to call Pip but it goes to voicemail. Later Pip turns up to pick up some notes and Ruth and she come to blows.
• Paul and Lilian have a very awkward meeting. He is very insistent that they should be together. Lilian admits she feels as strongly about him but she won’t leave Matt. He says she needs more than just a business relationship and she says she does. Things are like they used to be. And she has to make a choice. Paul says he won’t make her run around anymore; he’ll do the running around. There isn’t much to keep him in Watford so he’ll come up to her anytime. They have to stick with what they have. And she foolishly agrees that she will see him again and Paul then admits he has taken a room. So she gives in and says she will call when she can and Paul tells her he’ll be there.
