Tony joins David in wondering what is eating away at Kenton.
Radio Times: Shula helps Darrell out and Helen is in a positive mood.
Characters: Darrell, Helen, Kenton, Rob, Shula, Tony- Shula has found a bit of work for Darrell which he is pathetically pleased about. He admits to her that it’s difficult keeping in touch with the girls. Neither of them wants to meet him. He’ll just have to keep plugging away.
- Helen bumps into Rob at the playground and offers to help him preparing a welcome pack for the new dairy workers. He makes a rather stereotypical remark about gays which annoys Helen but she gets over it quickly enough.
- Kenton is now scrounging stuff from Bridge Farm for the highland games. Tony is moaning, of course, about not needing fencing now the cows have gone. He makes out he is still busy though. Tony reckons their success is down to being a good team. Kenton pensively agrees. Afterwards, Tony tells Helen he’s never known Kenton so thoughtful. There is definitely something eating away at him.
