Ray does a bunk and Lynda is put in charge.

Characters: Ian, Kirsty, Lynda, Tom, Tony- Kirsty is finding working two jobs rather tiring. Tony makes a delivery to the shop and is surprised that she asks about Tom. Of course she puts her foot in it by telling him how tough Tom is finding it.
- Ian is fascinated to find out what Ray has been up to. He’s done a bunk with Suzy Shen. Rooms empty, stuff gone. And just an e-mail to say he has been called away on urgent business. Lynda’s had to call Oliver to tell him and left a message. And now she thinks she might give Ray’s wife a call….
- Tony tries to have a friendlier chat with Tony and encourages him to keep going. He also mentions that Kirsty seemed a bit down.
- Tom makes an excuse to see Kirsty and she admits that seeing her ex-boyfriend with another girl in Jaxx wasn’t great fun. She doesn’t care but she could have done without it.
- When Lynda finally speaks to Oliver he feels he has let everyone down. It was his decision to hire him. Oliver asks Lynda to stand in to cover for the manager post and, of course, she agrees. Oliver tells her not to bother Caroline and Lynda agrees. Her first act is to tone down the Mexican evening. Ian wonders if the guests will feel let down but Lynda is determined. It will be a night they can all be proud of.
- Tom takes Kirsty out for cheesecake and tries to cheer her up and tells her she is gorgeous and that Damien is the loser.
