Jim needs to tackle a difficult conversation and Helen meets with her barrister for the first time.

• Neil and Kenton discuss Jazzer’s domestic circumstances and his supposed move back to Greenacres after Jim has returned there. During later conversation between Jim and Kenton, it becomes clear that Jim is not so keen on reverting to his and Jazzer’s previous living arrangements and he seems to be keeping a low profile around Jazzer, rather than tackling a difficult conversation head on. Meanwhile, Jazzer is putting on a brave face to Neil over his job loss. Neil can tell that Jazzer is missing his work with the pigs, but cannot see how the situation will be resolved.
• Events are planned at The Bull for St. George’s Day, the FA cup semi-finals and England’s green and pleasant land quiz, so Jolene and Kenton are expecting a lucrative weekend. Inspiration has struck Wayne with a themed menu which includes dragon pie! Kenton picks Jim’s brains ahead of the quiz, about St. George and the dragon and Jolene later develops the theme by suggesting to Kenton that they hire a dragon. He is excited and agrees straight away.
• Anna Tregorran briefs Pat about her forthcoming meeting with Helen today. Anna will need to establish a bond of trust with Helen, which takes time. It’s not uncommon for clients to refuse contact with family, particularly following trauma. When Anna later reports back the outcome of the initial meeting, despite Helen still not wishing to see her, Pat firmly resolves to never stop fighting for Helen’s cause.
• Jolene tells Neil that Josh Archer has tried to persuade Wayne to have Fairbrother eggs supplied to The Bull’s kitchens. Neil is incensed, as Josh has also tried to poach Neil’s customers by approaching the shop, the tea rooms, and Josh has also written a promotional piece in the Echo. Neil storms off to find Josh.
• During her meeting with Anna, Helen repeats several times, Rob’s mantra about her not being a fit mother, to either Henry or the expected baby. She is desperate to ensure that both children will be safe. Helen asks some pragmatic questions about where she will give birth. As Anna explains that the system precludes any contact with prosecution witnesses: Henry and Kirsty as well as Rob, this is almost too much for Helen to bear. Anna reassures Helen that there is hope, if they can work together, but in time this will mean Helen telling Anna everything and holding nothing back.
