Characters: Jill, Julia, Lizzie, Lynda, Nelson, Nigel, Richard
- The wine-bar is closed for re-decoration and Sean is doing a fine job. Nelson is trying to oversee, but is being hassled by Julia to taste the new drinks he should be trying, teas, herbal and normal, and coffees. Lynda offers to help after trying to enlist his help in an anti-Larry pact over his decimation of their parts.
- Nigel and Lizzie are under strain, she snaps when Julia tries to offer advice that she should look after her husband a bit more than her work. She responds by saying that if Julia were worried about Nigel she wouldn’t be living away from Lower Loxley.
- Richard is getting good sympathy over the reactions, but ultimately short memories, of people from Nelson – himself a victim over his rumoured involvement in the Ambridge Robbery of yesteryear – when Lynda mentions that she defends him to people without them even necessarily bringing up the issue! This pleases him, obviously.
- Jill is being far more supportive of Nigel as Lizzie has to dash off to another meeting with her consulting boss, Hugh.
