• Shula is blaming herself for the Grange Farm situation, although Phil thinks that her presence or otherwise would have made little difference to Simon’s intentions.
• Richard is grateful to Shula, Ruth and especially David for pulling him through. He hopes now that he can reconstruct things with Usha when she returns from Shiv’s on Tuesday.
• William gets stuck up a tree collecting mistletoe which could be another small source of income.
• Jill, Phil and Shula are discussing Simon’s actions and, while Phil is a least admitting that there is a possible defence for Simon’s assertion on the Grundy’s quality as tenants, neither Jill nor Shula is accepting this. Shula is wondering if she can carry on at the estate office.
