Characters: Clarrie, David, Eddie, Laurence Lovell, Lynda, Shula, Susan
- Clarrie and Eddie are enjoying the no-milking inspired lie-ins and Eddie jibes at her moaning about not having to cook on Christmas Day!
- Adverts for the business units are going into the papers in early January.
- Susan notices that the estate office doesn’t have many cards ….
- The inevitable explosion occurs at the panto dress rehearsal. Lynda sought some script changes, which were refused, she then accused Larry of being a fraud and saying there’s always a need for perfection, which, according to Larry, is not something she would know about! At which point she stormed out – likening an open mouthed Julia a “landed trout” on the way!
- The estate review with Simon went well until David mentioned the Grundys.
- A shock in the post at Grange Farm – Simon is suing them for damages over neglient actions to cover for no insurance payment. Clarrie doesn’t believe it and Eddie considers that the £60,000 he’s after would be the killer blow ….
