- Hayley’s mum is much better and she feels bad for the all round disaster and depression that is John, who’s not grateful to Peggy for stepping in.
- David’s rounding up volunteers for pigeon shooting. Tony and Joe agrees, Ruth advises him to take Pip for noise!
- Ruth is looking forward to going to the conference in Oxford and is teasing David over how much time he’ll spend at Brookfield while she’s gone!
- Lambing is going well, Debbie is enjoying independence and William was really good! Hayley is very impressed with her skill – she can handle lambs gambolling – no earlier! She’s after Kate to talk about another party for John.
- Clarrie lets go a little to Tony. “Some of us can’t afford dignity.” and the fact that recently it’s been “All work and no play”. Eddie’s no letting up and she knows that he’s embarrassed about all the drinks he’s being bought.
- William’s heading out to, errr, Darren’s to, errrr, do homework. He turns up at Home Farm to do help Debbie some more.
- Simon rang David to arrange a meeting for tomorrow. It’s a few week’s early and David’s worrying about what he wants.
