Characters: Clarrie, David, Eddie, Graham Ryder, Shula, Susan, William
- In an effort to bring his work home with him, William is nursing some orphan lambs from Home Farm in his kitchen. Eddie thinks that David is in league with Simon to get them evicted.
- David is preparing for his important meeting with Simon tomorrow. Shula is not looking forward to the forthcoming week, and working with Graham Ryder.
- Shula fails to reassure Clarrie that Graham’s taking over will not be a disadvantage to them. Graham, on the other hand, is determined to succeed with eviction, and rules Shula’s plan out of hand – “it’s a bit late in the day for that.”
- Shula’s new client is the other side of Felpersham, meaning that she might have to make changes in her childcare plans.
- Eddie’s home improvement plans are proceeding apace, but no one is convinced that it will make any difference. He confronts David with his accusations, and is not surprised when David says that he is “doing his job.”
