Clive’s imminent release is still stirring up emotion, Jack has drawn up a petition to the Borchester probation office requesting that Clive not be allowed back into the village and he wants Betty’s to be the first signature on it. Later Mike is threatening dark deeds and doesn’t take too kindly to David suggesting that maybe rehabilitation has been had.
Lynda’s decided that she wants somewhere more intimate for her production, but as a sop to a slightly annoyed Jack she offers him the chance to audition for Theseus, a part it seems he’s not destined to cover with glory if he’s chosen.
Nigel’s at Grey Gables to talk to Caroline for a “serious talk”. She questions whether he really wants to trust Lizzie and if he really wants to be wrong about her, pointing at that he’s being a little bit hypocritical in the light of what almost happened between the two of them. She suggests that he gives her the benefit of the doubt.
