Characters: Betty, Brian, Debbie, Graham, Phil, Susan, Tony
- Betty and Susan are slightly concerned ahead of Ivy Horobin’s visit to Clive. Neither approves of Mike’s attempts to stir up trouble, and it was obvious that Betty’s knowledge of his vigilante ideas was distinctly limited.
- Brian and Phil discuss the estate sell-off briefly, with Brian being cagey, not say dishonest, about his plans, while Phil was still admitting his stubbornness on the issue.
- Graham’s at Bridge Farm and Pat pointed him to Tony if it was anything to do with the farm sell-off. He reminds Tony that the clock is ticking and while, in the light of brochures being sent out recently, there has been significant interest in all of the lots, there have been no offers on Bridge Farm. Yet. He promised to keep him posted, but not to leave it too long in sorting out his differences with Pat.
- Good news from Susan, apparently Ivy had success in convincing Clive to go stay with a friend in London. Debbie’s happy with the news although a distinctly unreasonable Betty is, while admitting that he’s served his time, nervous that he will ever return to Ambridge.
- Graham’s next stop was Home Farm where Brian is still very keen on buying, at the very least, the eighty acres he already rents from the estate. Debbie’s not too impressed that he’s so obviously prepared for this meeting without letting her know.
