  • Hayley’s undergone a miraculous recovery, or rather, the ailment that is keeping her from Lynda’s rehearsals isn’t impacting on her day job. Kathy’s not particularly surprised to hear of Kate’s unreliability.
  • Work is almost complete on the Grange Farm parlour and the Grundys are extremely happy.
  • Brian’s pays a landlordly visit to Grange Farm, in order to get off on the right foot, he leaves with a supper invitation and a drunken affair it ends up as. A little stilted to begin with, the secret Calvados does a good loosening job.
  • The rehearsals and the “illness” are having effects on Jamie’s childcare and, while Hayley and Brenda’s availabilities seem to not overlap, Kathy is concerned that she’s not seeing enough of him.
