Characters: Hayley, John, Mike, Pat, Roy, Sharon, Tony
- Mike’s having a go at Roy over John’s pigs, Roy’s not happy with John either and is off to tell him. The other Tucker child isn’t happy either, she’s been told she’s not going on the rally and Mike’s glad Roy doesn’t support that campaign.
- Sharon’s refusing a lift from John – for a while. He claims to have had a fantastic time, the rest was just what they needed, but doesn’t seem that happy.
- Hayley was altogether happier, though, while admitting that the weather wasn’t brilliant and John seemed preoccupied. She blames the pigs, to which Tony claims him not obsessed enough.
- Apparently the abattoir were pleased with the group they sent, but generally Tony is apoplectic at the chaos left behind, which, of course, John tried to blame on everyone but himself. He begrudgingly apologises as Roy arrives and requests a private word, warning him about Sharon and hoping he’s not messing Hayley – his friend – around. John gives it back to him in spades, blaming him for the pigs, but eventually, offers him a cut of the next sale.
- Pat and Tony are worried, they really like Hayley and are concerned that John doesn’t appreciate what he might lose.
- Tony gets Mike’s back up even more when he rejects some swedes.
- Sharon confronts John with the truth about the holiday and they start up again, after she berates him for not telling her about the holiday and tells him that she missed him …
