  • Jack’s at Home Farm to see Brian, who wants to discuss the possibility of combining their two shoots. Jack’s initially keen on the idea, although Peggy’s wary of doing business with Brian and concerned that his might not be the kind of image that Grey Gables has cultivated for itself.
  • While Brian is still not keen on the friends that Kate has to stay, Jennifer declares what could be construed as pride in how her daughter is sticking up for her principles and living her life to her own rules.
  • Jack and Roy go off to investigate the suspicion of poachers – but it’s only George on patrol.
  • Roy is sent away from Kate’s cottage, it seems permanently, Kate is less than happy with his recent attitude to her and her friends, especially his telling of her plans to John and the subsequent use by him to ensnare her in trouble.
