• Shula’s looking after Pip after school and is proving a bit of a handful, eventually they go to Grange Farm to admire Posh Spice, but Pip complains again when she has to leave.
• Snatch has been on the lookout for Eddie – he doesn’t seem best pleased and has denied knowledge of the venison Eddie claims to have got from him. Baggy had visited Grange Farm with his Rottweiler too …
• Mike’s doing the Brookfield milking and Ruth is finding it hard to leave things in his experienced hands.
• DS Blackmore is asking questions in the Bull, Sid admits that Eddie did offer him some venison and, under a little pressure, admits that Clive did seem to be trying to make amends with things like helping out with the play.
