Characters: Christine, Clarrie, Debbie, Eddie, Jill, Kate, Pat

• Christine is still worried about George and his lack of enthusiasm for anything. This is made worse by her worry over Eddie being charged and the discovery that George’s notebook was in his Land Rover and has lots of information about the attack and, as it’s so normal for keeper to keep such a log, she’s sure that George would remember it.
• Pat’s in a state, the dairy is overworked completing the order for her new contract, her new staff are playing her up and Clarrie is not firing on all cylinders while worrying about Eddie.
• Kate’s concerned – she’s late. While she’s been very careful, she can’t be sure. Debbie tries to convince her that stress and worry can cause these things, Kate’s not sure – she feels pregnant.
• Eddie’s worried that Usha doesn’t believe in him, although she says she does. He’s at a loss to work out how the blood got there. Clarrie’s sure that an explanation will turn up.
