- Tony’s contacted the National Farmers Union about the sewage pipe – basically all he can do is appeal against the route when it’s been set.
- Shula delivers Kenton’s christening present for Josh and while David asks, because Shula’s making veiled comments about tidying up Kenton’s business, she denies have paid for it herself. While still not his brother’s greatest fan, he’s touched.
- Roy visits the solicitor and is told that he can’t do anything before the birth whereupon he could all three of them tested and the paternity solved. While the solicitor would not advise legal action, he can force Kate to have this test done.
- Tommy was out with John the previous night and missed college because he was out so late – John covered up for him and Pat is getting concerned at the way he’s living his life. Meanwhile Tommy is less than happy at her mollycoddling.
- Hayley invited Roy out for a birthday meal (it’s on Monday), but then John convinces him of the merit of a few drinks which Roy didn’t feel able to refuse.
