• Tony’s still having a hard time getting over the death, although thanks to David’s help he has managed to get out into the fields – but not to the site of the accident. He is grateful to Hayley for her performance at the funeral – but he’s more worried about Tommy, who is still being very quiet.
• Nigel gets some phone calls from Spain, firstly from Julia, who is completely self-absorbed and berated Ellen for her persistent chasing of Nelson, he feigns a bad connection and, in frustration, hangs up on her! Later Ellen rings, singing a similar tale to Julia, telling of her schoolgirl-like chasing of Nelson, but can shed as little light on what is really going on.
• Graham’s implementation of Alistair’s advice is going a little too well. He was distinctly “brusque” during a business call to her, turning down her invitation to go riding. This news passes back to Alistair via Shula and he recomends that Graham plays a little less hard to get!
