• Pat and Tony have finally plucked up the courage to go through April Cottage to decide what should happen to John’s belongings.
• Graham enjoyed the hunt and isn’t taking any more of Alistair’s advice! It’s Caroline’s birthday soon and he wants to surprise her. Alistair meanwhile is babysitting Daniel for a couple of hours and they’ve got up to no good in Shula’s kitchen ….
• Tommy and Hayley meet at the college’s cafe where she mentions her plans to him. He’s keen to pull his weight around the farm and, while she doesn’t want it to interfere with his college work, agrees to try to help with the pigs.
• Pat and Tony are going through John’s things and find a photo of Hayley and the ring in his suit pocket. Hayley calls round and is moved to see the photo – she hadn’t realised he had it. They want her to have the ring, John would have wanted it and they appreciate that she couldn’t have said anything else when he proposed. She doesn’t want to take it and would rather raise with them her idea about the pigs – they’re surprised to say the least!
