  • Roy’s not looking forward to work, but in the end, while he and Jack beat around the bush, Jack doesn’t, as Roy worries he would, sack him. It’s almost certain that Jack never intended too and Roy is glad that he’s got away with his job intact. Jack did seem to enjoy watching Roy squirm.
  • Nelson’s cafe-bar has been sold, although Lizzie thinks that only the receivers will do well from the sale.
  • Debbie’s finding shelter in the Cat at lunchtime, Jennifer has invited Greg to lunch and she just couldn’t face his surliness.
  • Neil and Hayley are overseeing Eric doing his stuff with the sows – indeed, Jill’s out with Daniel and they happen to pop by just as stuff is being done ….
