• As the World Cup starts badly for Scotland, so it doesn’t bode well for the Grundys as Richard’s still not seen his money and Eddie’s feeling very unhappy with his father over the issue.
• Eddie’s revealed as the mystery roller and is not pleased to discover that Sean doesn’t want to use the fruits of his labour. Neil’s equally unhappy as Bert’s changed the rota without his knowledge so that he is covering for Roy rather than helping Mike prepare for Saturday’s opening on the Pick Your Own. Mike doesn’t appreciate this and, combined with the continuing friction over the casual work, decides that Neil can finish all the preperations on his own.
• Richard’s spending time with Daniel and Shula’s feeling guilty about it, but is happy with the positive noises he’s making about his progress. Caroline’s more interested in the developments with Alistair and manages to convince her to accept his offer of a weekend away.
