  • Ed and Emma are really struggling with money. They don’t even have enough to keep them full with the cheapest food.
  • Fallon is pretty miserable. What is she doing with her life? Kenton says he’s feeling pretty low too. But Lynda is determined to keep people busy cajoling them both into auditioning. Fallon agrees to go along but Kenton says Christmas is his busiest time. So she takes him on on the state of the pub garden instead.
  • David asks Ed if everything is okay and he admits they are struggling with the milk prices and with feed prices too. He says Ed can always talk to him but he brushes it aside and says it’s just the time of year.
  • Later Fallon comes across Ed eating chocolate and he ends up admitting to her that his business isn’t paying its way and he has had to cut back on what he is paying himself. He just can’t think of anything else to cut while Will is just flashing the cash around. He just can’t see a way out.
