Eddie plots to restore a relationship but Mike has reservations. Helen longs to restore her relationship but Adam has reservations.
Radio Times: Adam has a few misgivings, while Peggy offers some well-meaning advice.
Characters: Adam, Eddie, Emma, Helen, Mike, Peggy, Rosa- Still concerned about Rosa’s attitude towards Darrell, Eddie chats to Mike about it. He wants to find some way of bringing them together, but Mike pours scorn on all his ideas. Eventually Eddie decides that The Bull might be the best place.
- While busy with the first lambs, Adam receives a visit from Helen, who with typical self-absorption thinks he can drop everything to hear the Rob saga. He agrees to finish off in the lambing shed and catch up with her a bit later.
- Emma chats to Peggy as she does the ironing. Holly has disgraced herself again, chewing Susan’s bra, wrecking the Christmas tree and depositing dog poo on the mat. When Eddie texts Emma to enlist her help in getting Rosa to the pub, Emma is not keen; she hardly knows Rosa. This gives Peggy an idea, and she asks Emma for a lift to the dairy when Emma is finished.
- Adam is stunned to hear Helen’s news, and urges caution. Helen must be sure that Rob will not let her – or Henry – down. Helen is in no mood to take advice, though; she just knows that Rob wants to be with her.
- Peggy gives Rosa a thank you card for Elona, and a lecture on family relationships. She thinks Rosa is hurting as much as Darrell, but is refusing to climb down.
- Adam calls to give Peggy (in true Ambridge fashion) an anniversary card. They discuss Tom and Kirsty’s engagement, which apparently does not entirely meet with Tony’s approval. If only Helen could meet someone and settle down, says Peggy.
