Emma is annoyed by the Grange Farm guests. Jennifer is annoyed by a Home Farm resident.
Radio Times:
Characters: Adam, Eddie, Emma, Jennifer, Keira, Tom, Tony- Because Keira has been startled by the B and B guests’ dog, Emma takes her outside to watch Eddie feed the pigs. Emma is cross because the guests have taken over the kitchen, listening to Joe’s stories, when Emma wants to get on with trying out recipes for Jennifer’s grand party. Ever the poacher, Eddie wants Emma to suggest fresh rabbit to Jennifer, but Emma is evasive.
- While Adam checks the irrigation for the poly tunnels, Jennifer seeks sanctuary away from an apparently penitent Lilian. The ban on attending the party will stay in place, however. Talking of the party (does Jennifer ever do anything else?) the Mayor of Felpersham, Rachel Pilkington will be coming, so Jennifer has invited Jim to make up the numbers. She wonders if it was wise to use Emma and Fallon to cater, but Adam is too busy to listen. He has asked Josh to sell one of the Home Farm ploughs, and has beaten him down to 10% commission. The only problem is that he has not yet told Brian.
- Patronising Jennifer phones Emma to enquire how the taster menu is coming on. Failing to pass on Eddie’s suggestion, Emma assures her that everything is fine and terminates the call.
- Wallowing in self-pity, Tom tells his father that he has lost all his enthusiasm for the trip to Brazil. Tony is sympathetic, but urges Tom not to give up on the idea. No, I will ring Nuffield tomorrow declares Tom in martyred tones.
