Fallon lets down Jazzer, again. Annette decides to proceed with the abortion.
Radio Times: Annette’s past comes back to haunt her.
Characters: Annette, Fallon, Helen, Jazzer, Jolene, Leon- Fallon attacks Jazzer with blusher whilst he’s waiting for her to get ready to go out for a curry. Jolene walks in and takes Fallon to one side to make clear that she thinks there’s something going on between them based on the messages Fallon’s giving out and so must Jazzer. Fallon needs to make it clear there isn’t.
- Annette’s been to the job centre to escape Susan’s tales of shop doom. On the way to the bus stop Leon greets her and suggests picking up where they left off. Now Helen’s not an issue what’s stopping her? He continues to walk alongside her, pestering her, despite her pleas. She finally turns on him as the bus arrives, telling him he’s ruined her life. Annoyed his charm’s failed, he tells her to get on the bus.
- Fallon’s finding things awkward. When Jazzer reaches into his pocket for the present he’s got her she’s forced into making clear they’ll never be anything more than best friends. He thought differently as they’d been having a great time together but understands. The present was a necklace that’s also a memory stick; he’s put The Lies songs on there. Streets ahead of a bunch of carnations, thinks Fallon. Jazzer’s ready to order, he’s starving…
- Annette calmly explains to Helen she’s considered everything and still wants the abortion. Helen’s not angry but still doesn’t see she’s trying to tell Annette how to feel. Annette says the only way things could get worse is without Helen’s support. Has she got it, she asks.
