Fallon thinks twice about giving Harrison the flick; David ramps up the fight about the road plans.
Radio Times: Brian begins to run out of patience, and Jolene tries to talk Fallon round.
Characters: Brian, David, Fallon, Jennifer, Jolene, Kenton- Brian is hunting for a nut from the baler, not the best time for Jennifer to suggest that they go to The Fox for lunch. He is fed up of being “persona non grata” in his own house. She tries to assure him that this will be the last “crucial” week of building work on the kitchen. But for now it’s go out for lunch or make friends with the microwave again. She finds the nut; Brian had been standing on it!
- Fallon is voicing her very serious concerns about the future of Jaxx. Jolene tries to reassure her but with little success. Fallon receives a text from Harrison Burns. Jolene is amused but Fallon is not, hinting darkly about what she has found out about him this week, on a social media internet site …
- Jenny and Brian end up at The Bull where Kenton teases Brian about just how much BL will make, no matter which road route is chosen. Brian becomes seriously brassed off with talk of the road scheme to the point that Jenny offers to get the drinks at the bar. She bumps into David who asks her to write a piece about Ambridge for The Echo, emphasising its way of life and its history. She offers to think about it, but she is very busy.
- Fallon and Jolene are looking through some photographs of Harrison on the Internet. Fallon is not sure about what to think and feels that she should end their relationship. Jolene regrets the passing of the days when good old dating, going out, talking and getting to know each other were the order of the day and not making up your mind based on what others said on the Internet. Fallon agrees to try to get to know him better, without the aid of technology. She sends him a text!
- David drops in to see Adam. Jennifer has been in touch with The Echo editor and has agreed to do a 1500 word piece by Tuesday. In addition, they are going to send a photographer to get some Ambridge shots. David offers to dig out some vintage photographs of Brookfield. As he says “Hearts and minds will win this fight”. Hmm!
