Joe needs to remember the secret ingredient in his Susan’s black pudding recipe so Tom can pay him for it.
Radio Times: Lynda is ready for a grand reopening, and Tom is ready to know a secret.
Characters: Adam, Brian, Eddie, Joe, Lilian, Lynda- Lynda and Lilian are cooing over backstage shots from Calendar Girls. Lynda tries to inspire Brian about the reopening of the village hall on Easter Monday. Lilian just goes for a few drinks but Lynda thinks they could aim higher. Though if there was a pet show, Lynda could enter Scruff.
- Eddie is trying to build a new shed. It isn’t going well. But they are also puzzled about what is going on with Fallon and Emma’s wedding. Now the groom is trying to fly someone in from Australia. Eddie worries about how anyone is going to make money now. Joe says Tom might be offering some business. He wants his Susan’s black pudding recipe. Truth is, Joe doesn’t know the recipe. And he didn’t like it when he had it. But he’ll have thought of something before Tom has to pay for the information.
- Lynda and Robert have been thinking about what to do to celebrate their 30th anniversary in Ambridge. Robert has persuaded her to have a shepherd’s hut. It will celebrate her connection with the soil.
- Brian asks Adam if he’s heard if Lilian has mentioned leaving. He’s been banned from asking her. And he thought Kate was actually doing something this morning but it was only to Skype Nolly on her 15th birthday. Brian is appalled at Kate. She wouldn’t last 5 mins in a real job. Not like Charlie who worked as hard as he could and still got the blame. He seems to have had the stuffing knocked out of him in Ambridge. Brian feels guilty about him and suggests Adam goes for a drink with him. Adam says no chance. That’s life.
