Jude causes an accident; Pip is ok but he is banned from Brookfield.
Radio Times: Pip plays a dangerous game, and there’s no holds barred for David.
Characters: Brian, David, Jennifer, Jude, Pip- He may have agreed to accompany Pip as she does her pasture survey, but Jude would rather play on the quad bike. He wasn’t allowed to drive it on the way here but he will put Pip under a lot of pressure to let him drive back. Pip has secured an opening for him to advise Auntie Elizabeth on her website.
- Jennifer having allowed Jeff to go and see to his mum, she now has to help Brian with the lambs. Lilian had a lovely lunch with Paul – a fact that raises Brian’s eyebrows. Also Lilian reports that Peggy is still not visiting Jack, although she looks fine.
- Inevitably Jude gets his way and, with characteristic irresponsibility, ignores Pip’s entreaties to slow down and be careful. They crash and Pip gets a bump on the head, in view of David’s pick-up. He rushes over and insists on taking her to hospital; Jude wants to come along but David will have none of it. Have you broken anything, he asks – let’s keep it that way!
- Jennifer maintains that Will is enthusiastic about Nic’s barmaid job; Brian thinks resigned is a better description: after a day at the shoot, an evening looking after Jake and Mia cannot be what he would choose.
- Pip is alright, though she has a list of symptoms to look out for. When Jude arrives at the hospital, David makes it abundantly clear that if Jude ever shows his face at Brookfield again he will not hold back.
