Kate searches for ways to avoid revising, Charlie convinces Adam to come to Berrow Farm open day and Christine finds her cottage has been ransacked.

Characters: Adam, Charlie, Christine, Kate, Phoebe, Shula- Kate interrupts Phoebe during her revision. Kate seems to be complaining about her own boredom while criticizing Phoebe’s methods of motivating herself.
- Adam and Charlie share a drink while they discuss the Single Wicket. Charlie has noted that Adam was annoyed at Rob’s win. Adam notes that he must get used to Rob because he is joining the team. Charlie has a favour to ask.
- Kate announces she needs something to take her mind off revisions and she wants Phoebe to form a team with her to do the Young Farmers’ treasure hunt. When Phoebe announces she can’t because she and Josh set the clues and know the answers, Kate replies that is even better because they’ll be sure to win. That’s cheating, chides Phoebe in a resigned tone.
- Charlie wants Adam to show up for open farm day at Berrow Farm with his big combine. The kids will love it, Charlie claim, and Justin is very keen to make this a local event with village residents participating. Adam points out that Justin doesn’t want to pay locals for work but is happy to have them advertise his business for free. Charlie holds out the offer of an opportunity to promote the strawberries and invites Jennifer to come as well to set up her farmer’s market stall. There is to be a marquee and a party afterwards. Adam relents and notes it sounds like fun.
- Adam comes into the kitchen for a coffee and finds Kate looking for a distraction. Adam tries to have a light conversation but prickly Kate wants to unload her irritations. She doesn’t want to mind Ruairi while her parents swan off for the weekend; Adam points out that it is their anniversary. And Phoebe won’t be her partner for the treasure hunt. When Adam suggests that Kate come and sell strawberries at Berrow Farm, instead, and attend the after party, she responds with a petulant gibe about crusty farmers. Watch it, Adam cautions, you’re referring to me.
- Christine and Shula visit Woodbine Cottage. Shula tries to provide Christine with a supportive positive attitude. But when they enter, they find that someone has been in the cottage and stolen all Christine’s sentimental items. Christine feels her losses all over again. The thieves have taken everything but the furniture, even George’s old walking stick. The police will have to be notified but first Christine sits down and has a good cry.
