Neil offers help to Tony but at what domestic cost? Fallon is confirmed in her view that Harrison is a “player” and she is better off without him.
Radio Times: Fallon loses her temper, while Tony plays on Neil’s good nature.
Characters: Fallon, Jolene, Neil, Pat, Susan, Tony- Tony finds Pat enjoying five minutes in the sun. He meanwhile has been knee deep in mud fixing the pigs’ drinker, moving the electric fence on his own and restrawing the arks. The cattle and poly tunnels will have to wait. Pat offers help grudgingly but Tony must set his mind to getting some proper casual help.
- Fallon tells her mother that she has been online checking the jobs market, in the light of what might be happening at Jaxx. Jolene offers some bar hours but Fallon reckons that it isn’t really an option. However, her real work of the moment is to get ready for her date tonight… with Harrison.
- Tony meets Neil and offers him some hours bringing the weaners on at Bridge Farm. Neil thanks him for the offer but reckons that he is working flat out as it is without taking on extra. Tony quite understands but asks for help picking up a drum of disinfectant as his back is playing up. But it makes a change from his recent heart scare. Pat is still trying to get over the recent events regarding Tom. Job well done Tony, Neil falls for the soft soap and offers a few hours after all.
- Fallon models her new lemon top for Jolene. Harrison has been texting all day, making arrangements for the evening. Perhaps Fallon was too quick to judge him. Another text arrives on her phone. It’s from Harrison. He has to work late tonight but he will explain later. She is furious with him for letting her down. Her first move is to head to Facebook in order to “unfriend” him, and then, well who knows?
- No matter what spin Neil try’s to put on his offering extra hours at Bridge Farm, Susan is incandescent that he has taken additional work with no thought of pay or conditions. She is certain that Tony has laid on his recent bad luck with a trowel and has taken Neil for a mug! She insists that he must go back and negotiate a better deal.
