Pip’s car is declared a write off. Alan’s organ is too.
Radio Times: Alan has a lot on his mind, and Jazzer has a proposition.
Characters: Alan, Clarrie, David, Ed, Jazzer, Nic- Nic tells Clarrie that Emma is being a bit nicer about the baby. She even offered to pass on some stuff of Keira’s if it’s a girl. Clarrie takes the opportunity to try to get her involved in the Church flower arranging rota. While they are doing that, Alan appears to say that the organ needs between £30-50k. He’s off to talk to Christine about it. Nic is enjoying her pregnancy though Clarrie is worried about her overdoing things. But Nic says William is being wonderful.
- Pip has got to her interview on time but she is still being short with David and he isn’t too impressed with her either. Then David meets Jazzer and Ed touting for sheep shearing business. He won’t agree to them doing the whole flock but says they can do 100. Adam doesn’t agree though. Jazzer is beginning to wonder if it is worth it, but Ed is more positive. Even at low rates it’s better than feeding pigs.
- When Alan gets back to the church, he admits things are pretty grim. There isn’t much money in the maintenance fund and £30k is a lot of bring and buy stalls. Alan thinks that they may have to look at alternatives but he and Clarrie agree that would be dreadful.
- When David collects Pip from her interview she explains that the insurance company is writing off her car so she’ll get next to nothing after her excess. And she takes the opportunity to complain to David about it.
